Man stopped on I-95 for driving the wrong way

Police in Stonington stopped a driver for going the wrong way on I-95 Saturday night.

They say the driver was going south in the northbound lanes near Exit 93.

The 80-year-old driver was heading to Norwalk.

He says he did not realize he was traveling in wrong lanes. His license was also expired.

There is no word if any charges were filed.
