The Extreme Football League is back one week after the Super Bowl.
Sunday marked the tri-state's newest pro-football team's opening day at the Meadowlands.

It is one of eight teams part of the XFL reboot, a league owned by WWE's Vince McMahon.
This time, there are brand new rules separating it from old XFL and NFL, including that the teams are only five yards apart on the kickoff and there's a continuous running clock until the last two minutes of each half.
The XFL plays a 10-game season followed the playoffs.
It launched back in 2001, but it didn't make it past the first season.
