A Bridgeport man was stabbed twice only days apart, police say.

Police say the first stabbing happened during an attempted robbery around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Fairfield Avenue. They say the victim was taking out the trash when he was stabbed. 

The second stabbing happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday. Police were called to the same location, but the victim told them he was stabbed somewhere else. 

Police say the victim is not cooperating with them, and that he was not seriously hurt.
