2nd Connecticut resident tests positive for coronavirus

A second Connecticut resident has tested positive for coronavirus, the state confirmed. 

The Connecticut Department of Public Health State Laboratory confirmed an additional positive case of COVID-19 Monday, bringing the total number of positive cases in the state to two.

Officials confirmed the patient is being treated at Bridgeport Hospital but is not a Bridgeport resident.
 
More information regarding the second positive case will be available after the patient and their family have been notified, officials announced.
