Norwalk, Danbury schools postpone events to limit coronavirus exposure
Norwalk Public Schools is preparing for at-home learning to limit exposure of the coronavirus.
School officials say large events will be postponed, including upcoming musical performances and schoolwide assemblies.
School will be canceled for all students Thursday, March 12 to "provide the necessary time and coordination to prepare student materials."
Danbury Public Schools are also postponing large events, such as plays, concerts and dances.
The schools will be open.
