The first coronavirus patient at UConn Health was discharged from the hospital on Saturday.

Officials say upon arrival, the patient was identified and managed as a possible coronavirus patient and that all proper precautions were taken.

The patient and his parents have been recommended to self-quarantine.

The patient is said to be doing well, and officials say all notifications have been provided to local and state public health authorities.
