Fairfield police encourage residents to support local businesses

Fairfield police are encouraging residents to keep supporting local businesses, one bag lunch at a time.

The police force has been using #LawAndOrderToGoFairfield on social media, make it a point to patronize business that have lost customers due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"Given these times right now where it feels like gloom and doom…we're trying to put a happy spin on it and maybe trying to help some neighbors out,” says Capt. Robert Kalamaras.

Fairfield's Health Department has a list of restaurants still open for takeout up on their website.
