Norwalk distillery gives out free hand sanitizer

A Norwalk distillery is giving out free hand sanitizer as a way to combat the spread of coronavirus in Fairfield County.

SoNo 1420 American Craft Distillers started production last weekend after its founder saw a recipe online featuring ethanol, which they manufacture to use in their alcohols.

The company has handed out more than 2,000 bottles.

The distillery has also supplied the Norwalk police, fire departments, area homeless shelters, and nonprofits with sanitizer, along with the MTA.
