A pizzeria in Watertown is offering a unique perk with its takeout and delivery orders during this tough time.
Daveluy's Restaurant is giving everyone a free side order of something no one would expect--a roll of toilet paper.
General manager Phil Parise says the owner of Daveluy's came up with the idea. Since the Watertown restaurant is closed to dine-in customers, there were cases of toilet paper that weren't being used.
"Between our other restaurant that we closed temporarily and then this restaurant, we had an abundance of it. We didn't know what to do with it," says Parise. "We thought we'd help out and put a smile on everyone's faces at the same time."
Daveluy's posted the offer on Facebook writing, "Here's to you because that guy/girl knocked you out of the way to get the last roll. We have you covered."

The restaurant has given out about 250 rolls so far. Parise says it has made people smile.
"People are coming in, they're asking for it before they even get their pizza," says Parise. "They're like, 'Hey, you got my toilet paper?'  But at first people were shocked, they were happy. One lady said she was down to her last roll so it worked out for her."
Parise says the offer will continue for the foreseeable future to provide customers with extra supplies as well as some humor during this tough time.
"We have a pretty good amount, so while supplies last," says Parise.
