The owners of Garelick and Herbs have come up with ways to help seniors and those in need at a time when grocery shopping has become a challenge.
Between social distancing, long lines and hoarding, getting much-needed items such as toilet paper and cleaning products has become difficult since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Garelick and Herbs is now offering discount toilet paper and looking for volunteers. There is even a promo code for people to use toward buying discounted meals for people in need.
The store is also signing up volunteers to help deliver meals to seniors, people with disabilities and even those afraid to leave home.
"They have not been able to get food from the grocery store or there's a big delay," says Paula Garelick, of Garelick and Herbs. "There are a lot of organizations struggling to keep up. We as a small company we are here to support the community."
