A Redding restaurant has re-invented itself as a temporary grocery store in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Redding Roadhouse in Redding has been a popular landmark in town for decades. The restaurant, known for burgers and fries, is now a one-stop shop grocery store.

Owners Erin and Shawn Reilly say they had to shut down due to the virus outbreak, but still wanted provide a service to the community.

The couple started the grocery store a week and a half ago and are asking people to order on their website. They say people can order hard-to-find meat and produce and then come and pick it up.

They say they will continue to do this as long as they can. They say the response has been positive, and there is no indication of their supply chain drying.
