North Fork teachers team up to buy students in need laptops

Educators from teacher’s associations across the North Fork picked up the initial purchase of 50 Google Chromebooks on Tuesday.

North Fork teachers have teamed up to make sure students in need have laptops for virtual learning.
Educators from teacher’s associations across the North Fork picked up the initial purchase of 50 Google Chromebooks on Tuesday.
Mike Carver, who teaches social studies in Southold, says the initiative covers the entire North Fork  because "This disease doesn't know town lines, it's not a town thing. It's a kid thing. Families are under enough stress."
