The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has announced new measures at Connecticut state parks.

The new measures include a ban on gathering in big groups as social distancing is enforced.
People are allowed to walk, hike and fish, but officials are monitoring to make sure people are maintaining safe social distancing. Parkgoers are not permitted to gather in groups of more than five people.
