Murphy says NJ needs more medical personnel as COVID-19 cases surpass 37,000

Gov. Phil Murphy said Sunday that the state still needs more volunteers with proper medical training to help fight coronavirus.

Gov. Phil Murphy said Sunday that the state still needs more volunteers with proper medical training to help fight coronavirus.
 
He also announced that New Jersey is getting 500 more ventilators from the White House.
Gov. Murphy says 3,482 new cases were reported Sunday. That is down nearly 1,000 from Saturday’s new case total. It brings the statewide total to 37,505 cases so far.
He added that another 71 people have died of the coronavirus. A total of 917 lives have been lost from the virus in the state.
