The Yale Child Study Center has released a free way to help children share and work through their feelings about COVID-19.

First Aid for Feelings is a 14-page workbook designed for children aged 4 to 10 to experience with a parent or adult.
A cast of characters called the Moodsters guide readers through activities like identifying the helpers in their lives, finding words for the emotions they're feeling, and understanding why social distancing helps us.
Laura Maturo is a Cheshire mom who says the book helped start the conversation with her 8-year-old daughter.

A worksheet toward the end of the book helps children look forward to what they'd like to do after the pandemic.

First Aid For Feelings is available as a free download from Yale Child Study Center's website.
