Boutique prepares to reopen as Connecticut economy makes comeback
Connecticut restaurants and retail stores will reopen Wednesday nearly two months after either limiting service or shutting their doors completely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Connecticut restaurants and retail stores will reopen Wednesday nearly two months after either limiting service or shutting their doors completely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Staff at Apricot Lane of Fairfield, a women's boutique, say they have been busy getting the store up to code ahead of reopening.
The store has put up plexiglas barriers, and added hand sanitizer stations throughout the store.

The new look to the store falls in line with accordance to new state guidelines for businesses.
Among the guidelines is a limit on the amount of customers allowed in a store, which must be capped at 50%.
Staff at the store says fitting rooms will be closed during the first phase, but they are offering a more "flexible" return policy.
Manager Stephanie Valdovinos says accepting returned merchandise will be done differently.
"There's an area designated for returns to make sure they're all sanitized before we put them back on the floor," she says.
All business that plan on reopening during phase must self-certify online before doing so, according to Connecticut state law.
