A man is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a police officer and police dog in Shelton Saturday.

A man is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a police officer and police dog in Shelton Saturday.
Police say Officer Dan Loris and his K-9 Stryker saw Raymond Paszkowski on Cathy Drive.
Pazkowski has two outstanding warrants and a history with police.
When Loris and Stryker approached him, Paszkowski allegedly attacked them with a broom.
Both the officer and dog were injured.
Paszkowski faces several charges, including violating probation.
