The Friendship Circle of Fairfield County decided to get in their cars and drive, when they couldn't have their annual walkathon fundraiser.
The Friendship Circle says they empower special needs youth with the skills they need to live a productive and independent adult life.
Today's car parade is helping raise much-needed funds for the organization.
Those participating received goodie bags filled with gifts and signs to place on their cars
"We're just doing our best little by little to reach out to one more person and to support another family in any way we can," says Chana Aamman.

The caravan is about to take off three separate houses in the area.
