Hundreds of people gathered in Milford in support of Black Lives Matter and to denounce police brutality.

Monday's gathering was less about shouting and more about listening.

People said seeing the conversations across the country about changing the way police departments are organized has them feeling optimistic that George Floyd's death in Minneapolis really could be a turning point.

Masks were required to be worn by everyone at the demonstration.
