A new app can help you find someone to mow your lawn as the weather gets hotter and it's more humid out.
Gene Caballero, from Tennessee, started Green Pal eight years ago. The company now has 16,000 certified lawn care professionals across the U.S.
The Green Pal app is now available in the greater Bridgeport area.
Caballero says it's free for people to sign up, and makes it easier to find lawn care service for the elderly population.
The app launched in Hartford late last summer. Caballero says there are nearly 70 vendors on the app in Connecticut.
