High school athletes will be back on the field this fall season.
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference announced its plan and guidelines for interscholastic athletes Friday.
According to the guidelines, practices will start as planned in August, with an extra week of conditioning for the students in cohorts of 15.
The first games or matches that are played will be delayed by two weeks.
Typically the regular scheduled high school football season has 10 games, this year there will be six games.
The CIAC also released a tentative tournament experience after the condensed regular season is over.
Each district will decide capacity around spectators in the stands.
