22ds agoThe high school football community rallied at the state Capitol Wednesday to try and convince lawmakers the fall season can be played safely.
Dozens of high school football players, coaches and even parents made their voices heard in Hartford a day after the state of Colorado reversed its decision to allow football to resume this fall.

Sources say the Department of Public Health is open to discussing proposals that would reduce the risk of COVID-19. Gov. Ned Lamont said Tuesday that he supports having a football season early next year as opposed to the fall.
Players tell News 12 they don't care when it is, they just want a season to play.
Senate Democrats also delivered a message to the CIAC and DPH, asking them to continue to try to find ways for a fall season, and at the very least, allow a spring season.
