Authorities say a suspicious suitcase was discovered in front of the courthouse in Norwalk early Saturday morning, which prompted a bomb scare.

State police and the Stamford bomb squad were called in to investigate the suitcase discovered in front of the Juvenile Courthouse on Commerce Street. After about 30 minutes of inspection, which included an X-ray, officials determined there was nothing inside.

The suitcase was removed and officials say no arrests were made.
