NORWALK - Staff at the historic Lockwood-Mathews Mansion in Norwalk say they're ready for Halloween with the debut of a haunted tour in the museum's basement.

Greg Kling says he's been working since this summer on turning the museum's basement into a haunted maze for visitors. Kling says the house, which is more than 150 years old, gave him a great backdrop to start with.

"The basement is tailor-made to be ghoulish," says Kling.

Staff says the tours begin tomorrow at the mansion on West Avenue, with proceeds from the tour benefiting the museum.
