Some undecided Connecticut voters say the presidential debate left them more confused than informed, leaving them wondering who to vote for in November.
Gwen Samuel, an unaffiliated voter, says she's tired of the party system and that none of her concerns were addressed from either candidate.
She is part of a group called Independent Voters of Connecticut on Facebook. She says that its goal is to vote for the person over political party.
The state says 41% of its registered voters are unaffiliated, and some people who watched Tuesday night's debate say they wanted to hear more about jobs and what to do about businesses that closed during the pandemic.
Quinnipiac political science professor Scott McLean says this was a very rowdy debate and really didn't make either candidate look good with voters.
He says he hopes the candidates will be more focused in the upcoming presidential debates since they will be asked questions by undecided voters.
