The pandemic could lead to cut backs on a tuition increase at the University of Connecticut this fall.
The school is considering a plan that would reduce a 4.3% increase by about half. The hike is about $625 and it would fall to around $312.
UConn cited the financial impact of the pandemic on students for the cut.
Their board of trustees are scheduled to vote on it next week.
