Incumbent Senator Joe Lieberman (D-CT) and his opponent, businessman Ned Lamont, were both campaigning for the U.S. Senate seat in Stamford Monday. Lieberman, who lost the Democratic primary to Lamont, was joined by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (R) at the Stamford train station. The two gave out coffee and donuts to commuters, before Bloomberg formally endorsed Lieberman. Meanwhile, Lamont joined students at the Cloonan Middle School to encourage them to remind their parents to vote. Lamont's newest endorsement is from the New York Times and he says he is very proud of it.
