A river ran through Kingsbridge Sunday morning after a 12-inch water main ruptured at Broadway and West 231st Street.
Work crews from the MTA, Department of Environmental Conservation and Con Edison responded to the scene at about 4 a.m. and authorities say the rupture caused street closures and flooding.
Though the damage to local businesses was minor, restaurant and coffee shop owners expect to see few customers.
