Woman accused of misconduct at Park City cemetery charged with 1st degree larceny
A woman who was previously charged with interfering with a cemetery or burial back in 2018 has been arrested a second time for first-degree larceny.
Dale LaPrade was arrested in 2018 amid an investigation into the Park City Cemetery.
Police say LaPrade wrongfully portrayed herself as a cemetery manager and made money from burial plot sales and cemetery services.
They say LaPrade withdrew over $670,000 from cemetery accounts between 2016 and 2018.
Police say LaPrade had used over $60,000 in cemetery funds for personal use, which was meant for burials.
