A 12th woman is now coming forward to report misconduct by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Susan Iannucci, a school office manager in White Plains, is being represented by women's rights attorney Gloria Allred. Iannucci says she is not taking legal action but wanted to come forward after a picture of her and the governor was used last week in his defense statement.
"I do not appreciate him using my picture to spin a story," she says
Iannucci was noticeably upset about the photo of her being displayed.
"I've been making the same gesture in public all my life. I actually learned it from my mother and my father. It is meant to convey warmth. Nothing more," Gov. Cuomo said at the time.
But Iannucci claims she didn't feel warmth back in 2018 when she met him at the pictured press conference, where he spoke about gun reform and then supposedly spoke with the crowd.
"He hugged my friend and then he turned his attention to me. He looked me in the eye, grabbed my arm, and pulled me toward him and kissed me on the cheek without asking if I was OK with such a personal greeting. I smiled nervously," Iannucci says.
She says this incident is humiliating her all over again.
"I do not condone his actions towards any of the women who have come forward and I don't appreciate being made to look as if I do," she said.
Allred says she is also representing the state trooper who claims Gov. Cuomo made inappropriate comments and touched her at his former home in Mount Kisco.
When asked if she is going to file a criminal complaint against the governor, Allred said she had no comment.
