Two people on a motorcycle were seriously injured in a crash Sunday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a serious two-vehicle crash involving a sedan and a motorcycle near 505 Candlewood Lake Road around 5 p.m., according to police.

The motorcycle passenger was transported to Danbury Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The motorcycle operator was also taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
