Fairfield sign spinner turns things around for local business. You've probably seen him if you drive along Mill Plain Road in Fairfield.

A local company has come up with a different way to advertise.

"Everybody calls me the sign spinner," says Ryan Inzero.

The sign spinner manages to get his point across.

"He's awesome," said one passerby.

"Yeah, that's a sign flip," said another person stopped at the light.

Inzero says his dad was looking for a way to drive traffic to the family's Candlewood Coffee store, just a bit off the beaten path.

"Got to get your name out. Got to do it somehow," said Inzero.

Inzero practiced for hours in his backyard.

"Got the basic spin with the thumbs. Then it evolved. Here we are three years later," said Inzero.

Now when he gives a whistle, he hears cars honking their horns.

"Never really thought it could go anywhere, but here we are - working hard, working hard," said Inzero.

Sometimes he's out here for a three-hour stretch - so he's got to be in shape. But don't get too close or you might get hit.

"You step into another gear where you're super pumped and you're ready. But then your body is like nope. You need to go in."

Inzero says the yelling and screaming for his twist on advertising is all worth it.

"That's what keeps me going," said Inzero.

Inzero spins his signs in Fairfield a few days during the week.
