NOW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Scott Sincoff says showers and storms, some of which could be strong, will move through overnight. Most will happen after midnight in western Connecticut. We will see up to a half-inch of rain through Tuesday morning, which is desperately needed.

NEW: Another round of rain and thunderstorms is possible Wednesday afternoon. This could impact the rush home into the dinner hour.

NEXT: Things look showery through the next week with temperatures mainly in the 70s; this looks to be the case for Father's Day and Juneteenth. If the trend seems to follow, this could be one of the coolest Junes on record.
