A Brookfield man was killed in a possible hit-and-run crash on Route 6 Monday evening.

Wellfleet police say 59-year-old Jeffery Richardson was found lying unresponsive on the road with visible head injuries.

No arrests have been made yet. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call police.
