A fire lieutenant in New Haven is on administrative leave following an allegation of sexual assault.

Police say Keith Norfleet turned himself in on Friday.

Police say Norfleet's arrest stems from a case that's been under investigation since December. News 12 is told it was an off-duty incident.

Norfleet posted bond and was arraigned Monday.

New Haven's fire chief says there will be an internal investigation.
