A 68-year-old woman was found dead Sunday in a family pool in Shelton.
Police say a family member found the woman unresponsive in the pool on Huntington Street. The incident happened around 4 p.m.
The woman was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport where she was later pronounced dead, according to police.
They say the woman was a family member visiting from out of the country.
