2 Sacred Heart University crash victims discharged from hospital

Two students have been discharged, showing signs of improvement. Three others remain in critical but stable condition, while one individual continues to be in critical condition.

Fairfield police report that there have been significant developments in the condition of those involved in a crash near Sacred Heart University.

Two students have been discharged, showing signs of improvement. Three others remain in critical but stable condition, while one individual continues to be in critical condition.

The incident occurred on Friday in the vicinity of Park Avenue and Jefferson Street.

According to police, a white Toyota and a black Audi were traveling in opposite directions on Jefferson Street. The collision transpired when a male student driving the Audi collided with the Toyota. Inside the Toyota were an Uber driver and four female students.

The police chief has conveyed that investigators are working to ascertain the exact cause of the crash.
