Watertown police say they arrested a Shelton man for possessing illegal potency levels of marijuana with the intent to sell and cigarettes with fraudulent tax stamps.
Authorities say they arrested Moniruzzaman Mir, the owner of the DP Mart on Main Street on Thursday after a lengthy investigation.
Police say the investigation started after several citizens complained about illegal activity at the business.
Officials say more than 800 illegal items were seized.
