Police say a man is in stable condition this morning after a shooting in Bridgeport.

The incident happened just before 9 p.m. Monday on Park Avenue.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle suffering from “numerous” gunshot wounds.

Officers say they recovered several pieces of evidence from the scene.
