She's swam for the Westport/Weston YMCA Water Rats for over a decade.
The Fairfield Ludlowe senior captain recently signed to swim division one at Auburn University after verbally committing in Oct. of her junior year.
She's swam for the Westport/Weston YMCA Water Rats for over a decade.
Murray says she and the Water Rats do a lot of volunteer work, helping with swim meets, food drives, and the special olympics.
"A lot of it is going to be tough, a lot of the time you're going to feel down, you're not going to feel good, it's going to feel hard. You're going to want to quit, but those are the moments," Murray said. "The most important moments where you stick with it, and you push through it and you say 'you know what, this is worth it.' I'm working towards something and I'm going to get to the other side."
She credits the encouraging swim community in and around Fairfield for helping her get to this point in her career.
