​Stamford High School's Pauline Vlahakis is this week's News 12 Connecticut Scholar Athlete presented by Colonial Toyota.

The 6 foot, 4 inches tall senior has been captain on the Black Knights girl's basketball team for the past two seasons.

Vlahakis was recently nominated for the McDonald's All-American Games.

Stamford High School got off to a 7-3 start this winter.
