Pedestrian hit by vehicle on Railroad Avenue in Greenwich

Authorities say the 35-year-old Stamford driver remained on the scene.

Greenwich police say a 78-year-old pedestrian from Flushing, New York suffered a serious injury when struck by a Range Rover on Railroad Avenue Monday morning.

Authorities say the 35-year-old Stamford driver remained on the scene.

Railroad Avenue between Arch Street and Field Point Road was closed for two hours while police conducted an investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Smith of the Police Departments Traffic Section at 203-622-8015.
