State police: Woodbury pastor had meth during traffic stop

A Woodbury pastor was arrested Thursday afternoon after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
State police say they stopped 63-year-old Herbert Miller on Main Street for suspended registration and insurance. They discovered he was in possession of crystal methamphetamine in both rock form and liquefied into a hypodermic needle for injection.
Miller was arrested and faces multiple charges including use of drug paraphernalia and intent to sell narcotics.
He was hired as the pastor of Woodbury United Methodist Church in July, according to the church’s website.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 23.
