Wilton High School will be the first high school in Connecticut to produce Broadway’s "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."

The students at Wilton High School made a video that won a contest to produce the show.

"The show started out actually as two separate shows and it was a part one and a part two, and then Broadway converted those two into one singular show which is what is playing on Broadway right now. And then there were reductions in the length and complexity of that show down to make it a little more manageable for the high school level, “says Kevin Slater director of the production.

Tickets are on sale now and the shows will be held on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 9 and 10 at 1 p.m.
