A judge has approved the $5 million legal settlement for former Stone Academy nursing school students.
The school abruptly shut down in February 2023, impacting nearly 1,000 nursing students.

According to the settlement, $150,000 will be set aside to help students prepare for nursing exams.

That money will be sent out to former students in a few weeks.
Once the school closed, many students were unable to complete their studies because their credits did not transfer to other schools.
