A Bridgeport man has been arrested after a drug bust in the area, authorities say.
Gabriel Rodriguez, 42, was arrested after an investigation at G's Smoke Shop at the intersection of Middle and John streets, according to authorities.
Police say they found more than 86 pounds of marijuana, 10 pounds of hallucinogenic mushroom products, $165,000 in cash and a loaded 9 mm handgun.
Rodriguez, a convicted felon, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of hallucinogenic and possession of over 1kg of marijuana with intent to sell.
