A 23-year-old man faces charges for a fatal boating incident on Candlewood Lake.

Robert McDonald from New York was arrested after a May 2023 incident, officials say.

Roselyn Blanco, 20, was found unresponsive in the water next to a boat.

She had injuries consistent with a propeller strike. McDonald is set to appear in court May 15.
