Week 5 of the high school football season did not disappoint.

The News 12 Connecticut game of the night went into overtime, with Fairfield Ludlowe defeating Norwalk 35-34.

The Falcons' Liam Bond scored two first quarter touchdowns to start the party.

In Milford, Jonathan Law improved to 4-1 on the season with a 34-13 win over Branford.

Hunter Kendzierski caught a first quarter touchdown pass, and lawmen quarterback Matt Witteman added multiple touchdowns of his own.

Elsewhere around the state, Wilton handed No. 5 Staples its first loss of the season.

No. 1 New Canaan beat Danbury 43-10, and No. 7 Fairfield Prep defeated West Haven 17-14.

No. 2 Greenwich hosts Trumbull Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
