A driver crashed into a nail spa at the Big Y shopping center in Newtown just before 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Fire crews say the crash caused heavy damage to the front of the business.

EMS helped those involved, but no word yet on why the driver crashed.

Officials say other businesses in the shopping center may be impacted.
