The Westport YMCA is hosting a 'Ride for Mental Health' fundraiser on Sunday from 12-2 p.m.
The event is run by the non-profit organization Positive Directions - The Center for Prevention & Counseling.
The non-profit has a goal of raising $50,000, with the funds going to expand their services, including increased access to counseling, peer support and prevention programs for community members.
Positive Directions said that community participation allows them to move closer to their goals and the public to network in support of mental health awareness.
The non-profit has served Fairfield County and other Connecticut communities for over 50 years.
